Our Speciality

What makes Lo Guarracino so special is our passionate focus on the local traditions of the region mixed with the culinary wisdom of the country. This is presented through traditional dishes of Campania; pasta ( homemade of course!), fish, tomatoes and vegetables in particular;

Our “scialatielli” , prepared with a mixture of flour, Parmesan cheese, milk and parsley is served with a seafood sauce of; prawns, squid and shrimps, are a real delight to the palate. Or try our “spaghetti allo scarpariello” – spaghetti with seafood – prepared with tomatoes, basil, pepper and grated Parmesan cheese as a worthy alternative for a fish starter.

The famous and world renowned Gragnano pasta is the base for several of our other specialities such as the “paccheri del nostromo” which excites the palate with a rich sauce made of swordfish, olives, capers, pine nuts and tomatoes.

Depending on the success of the catch-of-the-day, our seafood lovers can enjoy a choice of grilled squid, seabass, anchovies, tuna, snapper which are all delicious enough to be simply prepared in our wood oven, seasoned very simply with coarse salt and lemon juice, accompanied by seasonal vegetables; eggplant, zucchini and tomatoes.

The art of the “pizza” and “focaccia” also reigns supreme on the table at Lo Guarracino mainly because of the excellent ingredients and the skilled use of the wood oven by our pizza chef.

Be sure not to miss the “Pizza Guarracino” with tomatoes and seafood as the main features, or “Bufalino” made with the finest, real buffalo mozzarella. And of course the ever popular “Margherita” – a unique experience for the palate when eaten at Lo Guarracino.
